Building Studies

I do not often paint buildings, although I do hope to do more renderings of structures in the future. The way in which sunlight and nature interact with man-made structures is one of the points of interest in my appreciation of buildings. The juxtaposition of the natural and the manufactured is fascinating to me, the color temperature of the light and cast shadows, which are constantly changing, give the unmoving buildings a sense of constant change.
